Christoph F. Dietrich
Prof. Dr. Christoph Frank Dietrich (*16.05.1962) is Head of the 2nd Department of Medicine, Caritas-Krankenhaus, Bad Mergentheim, Germany. He studied Medicine in Hannover, New York and Montpellier and as well Philosophy, Politics and History in Hannover. He completed his medical education at Frankfurt University in the 2nd Medical Department lead by Professor W.F. Caspary. He is a specialist in gastroenterology & proctology, hematology-oncology & palliative care, pneumology and geriatric medicine. He studied “International Hospital and Healthcare Management at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (MBA). His scientific career is focused on endoscopy and ultrasound (endoscopic ultrasound). He is Editor of 13 books. Translations of books have been published in German, English, Spanish and Czech. He is author of more than 600 scientific papers and book chapters. Recently he served as President of the German Association for Endoscopy (DGE-BV, 2013) and as President of the European Federation of Societies in Ultrasound Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) [2013 – 2015]. He is currently member of the WFUMB Administrative Council (2015 – 2017). Christoph F. Dietrich is 郑州大学（第一临床学院和第一附属医院）荣誉教授 (Professor honoris causa) at Zhengzhou university, China and honorary member of the Polish Society of Ultrasound.
